The original units fitted to the PX ranger and BT50 vehicles heat soak when boost is raised above factory thresholds by even 2psi, seeing temperatures on the dyno of anywhere between 60-80c charge air temps. If it can do that in a controlled environment imagine what it’s doing on the beach or towing a caravan when you rely on it the most!
Its also very common they split and leak from not only the plastic crimped tank and o-ring, but the actual core itself!
