This part may come in either Schaeffler or Genuine Ford boxes however the product is exactly the same. There is NO such thing as an aftermarket alternative, a Bosch alternative or is there different tyres of injectors to replace these units. They are all the same unit made by one company.

These units used to come in orange Continental boxes (or the same white boxes with Ford stickers if dealer sourced). The Powertrain division of Continental has been sold to Schaeffler and now that the take over is complete they now either come from the Green Schaeffler boxes or continue as the same white box with ford sticker from the dealers. However the entire time the Injectors have solely remained the same product.

The additional high pressure fuel lines as well as the fuel injector fitting kit is all genuine parts. We have seen many times the aftermarket kits use different size seals or inferior quality rubber. Its not a job you want to redo, stick with genuine parts!
