PX Ranger Engine oil cooler and oil filter housing assembly

Suits all P5AT and P4AT engines fitted to PX Ford Ranger, Mazda BT50 and UA Ford Everest.

Original units have been known to fail approximately 200,000km and above and end up mixing engine oil into the cooling system, sometimes known as a “milkshake”. If you happen to see black oil formations in your coolant reservoir this is an early symptom this part may be failing. Comes with an engine oil filter pre installed.

This part should also be a mandatory part when doing an engine rebuild as it is near impossible to confirm any contamination from previous engine failure is removed. This is why genuine crate engines come with one of these units preinstalled.
