The Auto Labs deep cast pan is built to be the highest quality version of this product type that exists today, further adding a tool in your transmissions toolbelt to help keep itself cooler for longer. Cast and machined in Dandenong, Victoria, it adds a drain plug and drain plug for convenient servicing, as well as a temperature sensor port should you wish to use a manual gauge for real-time monitoring along side OBD2 digital measurements.
Boasting a larger capacity of an extra 3.5L of fluid, as well as using external cooling fins to bring steady-state temps down and extend the time it takes for the fluid to heat up due to the extra capacity. The number 1 crown jewel in this product, is that it retains both factory magnets plus a third internal magnet for extra shaving capture.
The 6R80 automatic transmission fitted to Ford Ranger PX, Everest and BT50 runs hot by design. Ford’s own spec sheet lists a normal operating range of 80°C to 110°C for the 6R80, and that’s before you add a tow ball, a bullbar, or a WA summer into the mix. Any cooling modifications you can do to these transmissions will immediately help prolong the life of the transmission and the oil quality, direct effecting transmission oil service internals and shifting/drive quality.

We have long had a stand point that we wont sell the upgraded transmission pans due to only having a magnet on the oil drain plug and being overseas manufactured, but now we can rest assured that the quality factor is there, and the engineering is sufficient, we are happy to stock, supply and fit these Auto Labs products.
