Introducing our ALL NEW Twin Core transmission oil cooler kit for Ford Ranger PX2, PX3 and Ford Everest models (will be available for PX1 Rangers very soon, msg the facebook business page for more details) *Fitting to Everest vehicles requires modification to the air ducting that sits behind the grill, but does not require it to be removed or 50% of it cut away like most kits on the market.
After years of working on Ford Ranger vehicles and using transmission oil cooler kits available from local suppliers, we quickly released there was many issues encountered that these suppliers were not aware of. Things like metal bumper type bullbars being a snug fit to the vehicle, upgraded intercooler kits, winch and winch control boxes or anything else fit behind the grill can pose an issue with being able to fit any transmission oil cooler kit that sits in front of the intercooler.
Our transmission oil cooler kit is packed FULL of features such as:
- 2x 30 row high quality Aussie made transmission oil coolers
- Unique fitting arrangement BEHIND the intercooler.
- Much closer mounting location to the draw through cooling of the viscous fan for a better cooling effort when doing slow speed driving
- High quality CNC machined transmission cooler adapters for mounting the hoses to the transmission.
- High quality transmission oil cooler hose, no cheap imported no name brand stuff!
- No more issues with mounting the trans oil coolers and having to modify or remove something because they are using the same mounting location.
- Data has shown usual operating temps approx 20-30 degrees cooler depending on driving conditions, meaning you have HEAPS of head room and a drastically reduced chance of it overheating. (coupled with a thermostat bypass)
Designed to be an easy DIY fitment with basic tools also, instructions are downloadable as we have tried to included as many pictures and detailed step by step instructions as possible.
** Pictures on the webshop are shown with a vehicle that has the intercooler and radiator removed just so you can see the oil cooler kit in place better. You DO NOT have to remove the intercooler or the radiator to fit this kit. Last picture shows the vehicle with the intercooler and radiator installed to see how they all work together.
**PLEASE NOTE** PX1 and BT50 models are now added, the additional price is due to the addition of a 316 hand made stainless j-pipe to loop to the oem trans coolers coolant hoses, if you do not need this j-pipe then you can simply purchase a px2 px3 version as other than that, they are identical.
**PLEASE ALSO NOTE** with PX1 and BT50 models, some vehicles do not have the required holes required (SEE LAST PHOTO) even though its more common they actually do have the holes, we aren't quite sure why as it seems to be across all years and all variants. If not there the radiator needs moving forward and the holes need to be marked and drilled, please remove your radiator panel cover and check before ordering.
