Are you looking to improve the reliability of your Ranger/Everest/BT50 6R80 transmission? The OEM factory fitted torque converter is a known weak point in the PX/UA/BT50 series with many documented failures from the thrust washer in the lock up clutch assembly wearing and shooting metal into your transmission destroying it, to the later versions ripping off the mounting ring where the converter bolts to the flex plate which will leave the vehicle with no drive as a best case, or worse case it rips the spigot off the back of the converter which also shoots metal up the transmission.

We have tried just about every single converter on the market, done the R&D and hard testing, removed the inferior products that have caused us grief, oil leaks, transmission failures and the dreaded torque converter codes, which has helped us make the best and only torque converter you should consider for your transmission!

It is HIGHLY recommended that this product is coupled with House of Automotive's transmission tuning as we can completely transform the way the 6R80 transmission behaves, making for a much more pleasant vehicle to drive. We also program the use of the lock up clutch a lot more in our calibration which will improve fuel economy in the long run.

WARNING: As these sell very fast and take much longer to create we need to put a strict timeline on the core charge fee to ensure we can get out cores back in the reconditioned process as fast as possible. Core charge is set at 3 weeks from purchase date, if this over runs we WILL purchase a converter locally and move on with the reconditioning process.

PLEASE NOTE, BT50's can have both versions of converter, generally the earlier non dpf vehicles have the 260mm and the dpf versions have the 280mm although during the cross over between models, both versions can have BOTH converters. Please ensure you are ordering the right converter, if you give us the incorrect converter back you will lose your core charge and we will move on with reconditioning another local core immediately.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE - 260mm and 280mm does not refer to the OUTSIDE diameter, if you are unsure what you have before you are placing an order feel free to msg our facebook page to confirm, as if the incorrect core is sent back we will deem this as needing to buy another core from your core deposit!
